1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MyGlobalPlace — whether as a buyer, seller, visitor or any other user — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced herein.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. If you are registering on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.
2. Platform Role
MyGlobalPlace is a B2B marketplace platform that facilitates connections between soft toy buyers and sellers in India. We are not a party to any transaction, sale or purchase agreement between users.
MyGlobalPlace is: A technology platform that connects buyers and sellers, provides inquiry routing, displays product catalogs, and facilitates business introductions.
MyGlobalPlace is NOT: A seller, buyer, shipping company, payment processor, guarantor of product quality, or party to any transaction between users. We do not hold escrow, guarantee delivery, or ensure payment.
3. Eligibility
To use MyGlobalPlace you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a registered business entity or individual engaged in legitimate commercial activity
- Have a valid Indian mobile number for OTP verification
- Not be prohibited from using the platform under Indian law
Sellers must additionally have a valid GSTIN (if applicable under Indian GST law) and a legitimate business operating in India or importing goods into India.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep your contact details updated
- Not share your login credentials with any third party
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
MyGlobalPlace reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these terms, or engage in fraudulent activity.
5. Seller Responsibilities
As a seller on MyGlobalPlace, you agree to:
Product Listings
- Provide accurate product descriptions, images, prices and MOQ information
- Keep your catalog updated — remove discontinued products promptly
- Not list products that infringe on third-party intellectual property
- Not list counterfeit, prohibited or unsafe products
- Honor the MOQ pricing displayed on your listings
Business Conduct
- Respond to buyer inquiries within a reasonable timeframe (recommended: within 24 hours)
- Provide GST invoices for all transactions when requested by buyers
- Maintain your GST registration and keep your GSTIN active
- Ship orders within the delivery timeline committed to the buyer
- Handle product quality issues and returns in good faith
Certifications
- Ensure products comply with applicable Indian safety standards (BIS certification for toys marketed to children under 14)
- Not misrepresent certification status of your products
Important: Sellers who repeatedly fail to respond to inquiries, deliver substandard products, or receive negative buyer feedback may have their listings suspended or account terminated without refund of subscription fees.
6. Buyer Responsibilities
As a buyer on MyGlobalPlace, you agree to:
- Provide accurate shipping address, GST details and contact information
- Honor confirmed orders — once an order is confirmed, you are obligated to complete payment as agreed
- Negotiate in good faith — not submitting fake, spam or malicious inquiries
- Conduct your own due diligence on suppliers before placing large orders
- Not use inquiry information obtained through the platform to contact sellers outside the platform for the purpose of bypassing platform fees
- Verify product samples before committing to bulk orders
7. Prohibited Content & Activities
You may NOT list, sell, buy or facilitate the following on MyGlobalPlace:
- Counterfeit or trademark-infringing products (Disney, Sanrio, Pokemon, etc. without license)
- Products that fail applicable BIS or safety standards for children’s toys
- Misleading product descriptions, fake reviews or fraudulent seller identities
- Products banned or restricted under Indian law
- Adult content or inappropriate products
You may NOT engage in the following activities:
- Scraping or automated extraction of platform data
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating other businesses
- Manipulating search rankings through artificial means
- Harassment of other users via the platform’s messaging systems
- Any activity that interferes with platform operations
Violation of prohibited content policies will result in immediate account suspension, removal of listings, and forfeiture of any subscription fees paid. Serious violations may be reported to relevant authorities.
8. WhatsApp & Inquiry System
MyGlobalPlace provides a WhatsApp-based inquiry routing system that connects buyers and sellers. By using this system:
- Buyers acknowledge that clicking “WhatsApp” will share their WhatsApp number with the seller
- Sellers acknowledge that their WhatsApp number will be shared with buyers who inquire
- Both parties agree that all subsequent WhatsApp communication is outside MyGlobalPlace’s platform and governed by WhatsApp’s Terms of Service
- MyGlobalPlace is not responsible for any representations, commitments or agreements made via WhatsApp
All formal order confirmations, GST invoices and dispute evidence should be documented through official channels (email or platform messaging) in addition to WhatsApp.
9. Payments & Subscription Billing
Trade Payments (Buyer-Seller)
All payments for products are directly between buyers and sellers. MyGlobalPlace does not process, hold or guarantee any trade payments. We are not responsible for payment disputes, non-payment or fraud in buyer-seller transactions.
Subscription Plans (Sellers)
- Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually as selected
- Plans auto-renew unless cancelled at least 7 days before the renewal date
- No refunds are provided for partial months or unused subscription periods
- Featured listing add-ons are non-refundable once activated
- GST invoice is provided for all subscription payments
Failed Payments
If a subscription payment fails, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan after a 7-day grace period. Your listings and data will be retained but premium features will be disabled.
